These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Global Education Expert (“GEE”, “we” or “our”), including the website https://globaleduexp.com/. The website is hereinafter referred to as “Website”.
GEE is a business entity that provides education consultancy services (hereinafter referred to as “Services”) to its clients (hereinafter referred to as “User” and collectively referred to as “Users”) such as University admission abroad, scholarship and work opportunities, visa assistance by partnering with various universities and entities around the world (hereinafter referred to as “Service Partners”)
General
1.1 GEE will enter into an agreement with the Users to provide them with Services in accordance with the Terms.
1.2 The Terms will come into force upon [Insert Date] the Effective Date.
1.3 The Terms shall continue to be in force until [Insert Date] or terminated.
1.4 The User will be subject to the applicable laws and regulations of the Service Partner’s local jurisdiction.
1.5 GEE will not be liable if the User is subject to any violation of such applicable laws and regulations.
1.6 No breach of any provision of the Terms shall be waived except with the express written consent of the party not in breach.
Payment
2.1 The User shall make the Payments to GEE in accordance with these Terms.
2.2 All amounts stated or in relation to these Terms and Conditions are, unless the context requires otherwise, stated [inclusive of any applicable value-added taxes] OR [exclusive of any applicable value-added taxes, which will be added to those amounts and payable by the User to GEE].
2.3 GEE shall issue invoices for the Payment to the User [from time to time during the Term] OR [at any time after the relevant Services have been delivered to the User] OR [in advance of the delivery of the relevant Services to the User].
2.4 The User must make the Payments to GEE within the period of [Insert Timeline] following the issue of an invoice.
2.5 GEE will not be liable for payments due to the Service Partners made via third parties.
2.6 GEE will not be liable if there is any change/update brought in the course plan/fee by the Service Partners.
2.7 The initial deposit of Tk 3,000 (Taka Three Thousand) will be used as part of the payment to pay application fees where applicable. A 10% administrative charge will be attached to the conversion of the deposit as part payment of the application fee. This administrative charge is imposed to avoid any losses in cases of currency depreciation when making the international payments.
2.8 In case of extraordinary events such as hyperinflation and wild currency swings (for instance, over 10% devaluation of Bangladeshi Taka in a given financial year), which can result in the rapid devaluation of the Bangladeshi taka, GEE reserves the right to change the rate of administrative charges for international payments on behalf of prospective students.
2.7 Depending on the educational institution, application fee shall vary. The Users need to deposit the additional amount either in forms of cash, bank deposit’ or payment via electronic wallet. The administrative charges for the additional amount (on top of initial deposit) will be 10%.
2.6 If the User does not pay any amount due to GEE under these Terms, GEE may:
(a) charge the User interest on the overdue amount at the rate of [Insert Rate] (which interest will accrue daily until the date of actual payment and be compounded at the end of each calendar month), if any; or
(b) charge the User a fixed penalty of [Insert Penalty/Percentage]
Admission and Jobs
3.1 Subject to the Service Partners accepting the User, GEE reserves the right to receive the “Letter of Acceptance” before the User receives it.
3.2 The User will receive the Letter of Acceptance once the payment due to GEE is paid up in accordance with Clause 2 of the Terms.
3.3 GEE reserves the right to cancel the admission of a User who goes to the Service Partners without clearing the due amount.
3.4 GEE does not guarantee the offer or acceptance from the Service Partner.
3.5 Subject to the User’s ability, GEE does not guarantee any part-time or full-time job abroad.
Visa
4.1 GEE is not responsible for granting Visa applications for the Users, it will only provide assistance in the process and does not guarantee the same.
4.2 GEE shall not not be held liable for the rejection of the User's Visa application.
Refund Policy
5.1 In the event, GEE makes no payment in relation to application fee on behalf of the Users for higher studies abroad, in such circumstances, refunds will only be issued after three months of deposit.
5.2 Submission of fabricated documents by the Users shall entitle him/her to get no refund.
5.3 There will be no refunds if the Users provide false information regarding their past academic and travel history i.e., forged academic documents and any sort of visa rejections.
5.4 15% will be deducted from the deposited amount in the case of refunds as administrative charges.
5.5 If a User successfully avails visa and completes payment to the university, then he will receive ‘Cash Back’ from GEE equal to the amount of the application fee (including the previously charged administrative charges) in BDT as per official Bangladesh Bank exchange rate (within one month of completion of payment to university. They will be required to submit proof to claim the Cash Back). Please note that the ‘Cash Back’ is only applicable for study abroad applications to USA, UK, Malaysian, Canadian and Australian universities.
5.6 In an event where any of the Users are unable to retrieve entitled discounts in any of the Service Partner entities, the User is entitled to place a complaint to GEE with a copy of the receipt issued against the service. GEE will inquire into the matter and upon finding fault with the Service Partner or GEE, it will ensure refund of the entitled discount amount on that particular service.
5.7 GEE shall not be liable if any User fails to present necessary documents in time.
5.8 In an event, if any User avails services from two agents for the same purpose i.e, applying to the same university, and GEE is one of the agents, in that scenario, no refund shall be given to the particular User.
5.9 If there is any change or alteration to the subject/courses selected by the User with the Service Partners, the previous payment will not be subject to refund.
5.10 The admission fee to study in China or Russia is non-refundable.
5.11 Charges for e-consultancy fee are non-refundable. GEE may reschedule the date & time and update the User about the change.
5.12 If any User requires our assistance for accommodation in foreign countries and makes payments for booking, then the payment will be non-refundable if that User chooses not to move there later.
5.13 Subject to Clause 4, if the Visa Application is rejected, no refund will be provided for the service attained by the User.
Offers and Disclaimer
6.1 All offers, discounts and services that are provided to the Users are subject to a specific period of time as will be mentioned in the offer package.
6.2 GEE reserves the right to cancel any discount program agreement with any of the Service Partners without any prior notification to its Users.
Governing Laws
7.1 GEE is governed by the laws and regulations of Bangladesh. Service Partners and Users agree that Bangladesh courts, with the District Court of Dhaka as the court of the first instance, will have jurisdiction over any dispute or claim relating to the use of Services or the Website of GEE.
